Huong is a branding and packaging project for a contemporary Vietnamese incense brand. The design reinterprets ancestor worship as a calm sensory ritual for younger generations. Colors follow the Five Elements, and the packaging structure is derived from the Six Harmonies and the traditional three compartment house. The set includes a hexagonal master box, six inner incense boxes, two incense holders and printed materials. A companion website named Gap extends the same visual system, allowing visitors to interact with ancestral silhouettes formed from their own shadow.

The project centerpiece is its dual purpose packaging: a perforated structural sleeve that transforms into a minimalist decorative object for modern interiors once unboxed.

In Scene

In Scene is a brand renewal programme for a coffee brand based in Shanghai. The design uses theatre as a metaphor and places the consumer inside the scene. The gift box has a three-fold paper sculpture structure that opens like stage curtains and measures about 300 by 200 by 80 millimetres. Eco-friendly paper and metal fittings are used. A scanned code links the box to a short personality test that creates a card for sharing. Stores add light, scent and sound to extend the coffee experience.

The vacuum air bag is chosen as the medium for its dual attributes of airtightness and mobility, which perfectly fit the reflection on the closed and flowing characteristics of consumer desire, expecting to arouse universal thinking on the true meaning of consumption and the pursuit of the authentic self.
